ECPA acts as the ambassador of the crop protection industry in Europe and represents the industry's European regional network. The United States Department of Agriculture proclaimed June 18-24, 2012 as Pollinator Week, in recognition of pollinator species' importance to agriculture and to forest and grassland environments and other ecosystems. In this video CLA member Cindy Baker Smith of Gowan Group, Arizona Beekeeper Rick Smith, and the National Cotton Council's Don Parker discuss the importance of pollinators and how the crop protection industry is working with beekeepers around the country to ensure that an open dialogue occurs on key issues.
