Solving Africa's Weed Problem

Leonard Gianessi, Director, Crop Protection Research Institute (CPRI), presents the latest report from CropLife Foundation, “Solving Africa’s Weed Problem.” The new report details the current issues with handweeding, the prevalent form of weed control on smallholder African farms. Mr. Gianessi illustrates the positive impact that modern weed control technology could have on the lives of women and children in Sub-Saharan Africa. The new report was unveiled at a special News Conference by CropLife Foundation on December 10 at the University Club in Washington, D.C.
