The ACRC is a non-profit organization that safely collects and recycles plastic crop protection product, or pesticide containers. Thousands of farmers and applicators nationwide participate in it’s free recycling programs.
It costs up to $256 million to research, develop, and register a new crop protection product; only 1 in 139,000 chemicals make it from the laboratory to the farmers’ fields.

Jeff emphasizes the infrastructure that agribusiness provides for agriculture and farming, noting that the wealth of information and technology around the country. Bringing that information and technology back to the farmer is essential. Stewardship practices, such as container recycling is also talked about, and both Jay and Jeff see its role as a vital part of American Agriculture.
