Founded in 1969, American Vanguard is a diversified specialty and agricultural products company that develops and markets crop protection, turf and ornamental products and public health insecticides.
Although the world population has doubled in the last 40 years, the area of land devoted to food production has remained virtually constant; crop protection products have enabled farmers to produce higher yields of their crops on less land. In fact, U.S. farmers provide 18% of the world’s food supply on only 10% of the world’s farmland.
Ag Container Recycling Council
The ACRC is a non-profit organization that safely collects and recycles plastic crop protection product, or pesticide containers. Thousands of farmers and applicators nationwide participate in it’s free recycling programs.
