It’s time again for the CropLife America/RISE Photo Contest! Share your best photographs exhibiting your pride in the agricultural and specialty pesticide industry for a chance to win a spot in our 2012 Photo Calendar!
CropLife America and RISE invite you to submit photos that celebrate our industry and the role it plays in your life. The mission of the photo contest: to raise awareness of the benefits that our industry contributes for providing America’s families with a safe, affordable and abundant food supply, and a beautiful and safe environment in which to live. All submissions should include thoughtful commentary highlighting how the photographic subject represents a benefit of their industry. Each submission should begin “My industry means…”, and the entrant will fill in with original writing. This can include modern agriculture (for CLA members) or the specialty pesticide industry (for RISE members).
Winning photos will appear in the 2012 CLA/RISE Calendar. The cover winner will receive a $300 Ritz-Carlton gift certificate to be used for activities or shopping at either the 2011 CLA or RISE Annual Meeting. The winning photographs will also be unveiled and featured at the 2011 CLA and 2011 RISE Annual Meetings.
The deadline for entries is August 1, 2011, so start shooting now!
Participants are limited to three digital photographs.
Submissions must be print quality and should be 8.5" x 11" with a resolution of 300 dpi (equivalent to 3300 x 2475 pixels), or the maximum setting your camera allows.
