Once again, CropLife America and RISE are joining forces for our Annual Meeting taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes resort September 24 – 27, 2006. The theme of the conference is “Partnering to Improve Lives and the Environment,” for which we have developed stimulating programming that will highlight how our industry ensures; public health, safe and abundant food and fiber, habitat conservation, healthy homes and schools, and lawns and landscapes that enhance life and leisure.  We have made some exciting changes to the schedule this year to allow for a more compact meeting, so check back often for updates. 

We are thrilled to announce the featured guest speaker for Tuesday morning’s breakfast – celebrated chef, author and TV host ANTHONY BOURDAIN.  Mr. Bourdain can be seen on the Travel Channel hosting his series of world culinary adventures, “No Reservations.” Please click here for more information on Mr. Bourdain and other annual meeting speakers.

In addition, we will be offering an array of wonderful activities. These include the CL PAC Silent Auction, Bingo and Texas Hold’Em tournament as well as an interesting presentation to the spouses and non-golfers of the group by Tom Schlick, the head grounds keeper at the Grande Lakes Resort, who will enlighten us to the challenges they faced in developing the property as well as in keeping the property beautiful. Golfers will surely enjoy the golf outing and PAC tournament to be held at the Greg Norman-designed Ritz-Carlton Golf Club ® Orlando,  Grande Lakes. Of course, no visit to Orlando would be complete without a visit to one of its many parks including Sea World, the Universal Studios park and Islands of Adventure, and the Walt Disney World Parks, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney MGM and Animal Kingdom.
