2012 Science Forum

Modern Agriculture is rooted in complex scientific evaluations that are forced to use weight of evidence (WoE) approaches to determine the best possible solutions. What is used to determine “weight” vs “evidence”? Join us at the annual CLA Science Forum to hear scientists from academia, industry, non-governmental organizations and agencies discuss all angles of this topic.

CropLife America will be hosting their 2012 Science Forum on May 17, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Marriott Metro Center in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme is “Judging Weight of Evidence Approaches.” The forum promises to deliver a much needed debate on weight of evidence and various principles of the approach, which seems so familiar but which often evades precise definition.

This year’s program includes:

  • Chris Borgert, Ph.D., Applied Pharmacology and Toxicology, Inc
  • Lorenz Rhomberg, Ph.D., Gradient
  • George Gray, Ph.D., George Washington University
  • Randall Lutter, Ph.D. (formerly of USFDA) will serve as the Moderator and Principal Author for the Forum
